[Object] To observe the therapeutic efficacy by the numbers in treating the limb spasticity in hemiplegic patients after acute apoplexy by the way of "Nourishing the liver to stop the spasticity" combined the facilitation technique.[Methods] The research used the random contrast and single-blinded test. The disease diagnosis standard is reference to the new apoplexy standards put forward by the textbook. 112 patients with limp spasticity in hemiplegia were divided into two groups on the random: the comparison group and the therapeutic group. Every group has 56 patients. The comparison group was given the traditional acupuncture treatment, and the therapeutic group was given the methods of "Nourishing the liver to stop the spasticity". One course is 10 days, between every two courses have two days to take a rest. Then give the evaluations after 6 courses.[Result] According to the study, we found that both of the groups can improve the spasm, the movement function and the ordinary living ability. Besides, the therapeutic group surpasses the comparison group (P<0.05).[Conclusion] The methods of "Nourishing the liver to stop the spasticity" combined the facilitation technique can effectively alleviate the limb spasticity of hemplegia patients after apoplexy, which shows the new cooperation of TCM and Western Medicine path for treating this disease, is convenient and safe effective treatment. It is worth further research and the clinical promoted application.
