Shen Rong Puzzle Drink Clinical Research In The Treatment Of Senile Dementia

OBJECTIVE:This topic plans through the clinic researeh,the first step observes Shenrongyizhi decoction in treating patients with senile dementia(kidney deficiency and blood stagnation in function of brain)and explore it's therapeutic mechanism and offer the scientific basis for the further application.METHODS:1 Clinic data:All the patinets came from Wu han hospital of TCM,from May of 2006 to December of 2007.48 patients were collected and averagely divided into treated group and control group.each group owns 24 patients.2 The mdeical usage:The patients in treatment group take Shenrongyizhi decoction 100ml three times a day and the control group take Donepezil a tablet each day.the treatment lasted for 16 weeks.In the period,others will have an effect on the result are forbidden:including drugs,fat food,acridity food,smoking and drinking.3.The therapeutic effcts and the badness and the side-effect:for all the patients before taking medicine,the 16 weeks,we took scores on MMSE,ADAS-cog and TCM symptoms.physical sign,blood route,urine route,stool route,liver kidney function,electrocardiogram are observed before and after the treatment of the 16 weeks.4.The state method:The date was analyzed with spss 13.0 after oberstion.According to the type of scale,ordinal and norminal,the data was examined with t test,Ridit,Chi-square test and fisher's exact test respectively.The scale data was described with X~2.It's significant when P＜0.05RESULTS:In the treat group,the total cruative effect,the score MMSE,ADAS-cog and TCM symptoms are significant difference,compared with the control group(P＜0.05)CONCLUSION:Shenrongyizhi decoction plays better role in alzeimer disease treatment and it's effective and secure for the disease.
