| Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of treating ulcerative colitis (UC) with qing-chang-tang and explore the mechanism of treating ulcerative colitis with qing-chang-tang and expire the mechanism from theoretical and clinical aspects.Method: 40 patients are selectived as cases to research. All cases with UC are divided into two groups at random qing-chang-tang is given treatment group and at the same time SASP is given control group. Treatment group and conrol group are gived continuously treatment 2 months.Results: The totally effective rate of treatment group come to 84. 0%, while that of control group is 80. 0%, and there is not a significant difference between the treatment group and control group (P> 0. 05). The curative effect is as good as that of control group, but treatment group can improve significantly the symptoms such as diarrhea, tenesmus, the scorch of anus, bellyache, blood purulent stool.Conclusion: Qing-chang-tang is a safe and effective drug of treating UC, and the mechanism might be related to regulation immunologic function, accelerating ulcerative recovery, adjustment alteration of intestinal flora, improvement blood circulation of intestinal canal and systematic symptoms. |
