Objective:Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease is severe disease that leads to a fatal risk to human health. Mortality caused by CHD ranked fifth in the world. The prevention and treatment of ACS advanced at a high speed,as well as the CHD. The treatment of anti-thrombosis has become routine for patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). due to aspirin resistance and Plavix resistance, serious problems, such as the bleeding, thrombosis risk remains to be lower. Salvia is of antithrombotic function, Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine may be the best option. to observe blood coagulation mechanisms and the intervention of cardiovascular events, as a preliminary evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of ACS treated with integrated medicine, the patients were randomly divided into two groups, patients in the control group were programmed to strengthen antithrombotic while the patients in treatment group on the basis of this joint Salvia injection therapy.Method:(1) 63 patients with ACS treated in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Dongfang Hospital from July 2007to September 2007.(2) In accordance with random number table respectively to Chinese medicine treatment group(salvia infusions added besides western medical methods) and the control group only western medicine, Treatment of patients signed informed consent.(3) Patients were treated using conventional western medicine in both groups. And salvia infusions were given to the Chinese medicine treatment group.(4) To study the blood stasis syndrome as well as the effectiveness and the adverse reactions of the treatment, serum indicators and effectiveness index were recorded.(5) Adverse reactions or research related to the accident situation, researchers will take the necessary steps , All adverse events will be a follow-up investigation, until a proper solution or stable condition.(6) Statistical Methods: SPSS 13.0 data analysis software, and measurement data using t-test, Counting information with X2 testing, grading information with rank sum test(wilcoxon). Results: (1) General information: meets the criteria patients with a total of 63 cases, 35 cases of the treatment group and the control group of 28 cases, two of the general situation, Preoperative angiography and interventional treatment acceptable There was no difference (P> 0.05), comparability.(2) The serum platelet counts in the two groups were no statistical differences before treating, statistical differences emerged after treating between two groups. Statistic work done With the Frequencies method, the result showed the platelet counts in the normal range. That proved the salvia infusion is functional to anti-platelet aggregation. And the safety of the salvia infusion combined the antithrombotic therapy were guaranteed, no adverse reaction were found in the research.(3)Effectiveness evaluation in Chinese medicine: no statistical differences before treating, statistical differences emerged after treating between two groups. the points-reducing rate(points were marked by the syndrome enquiry) after comparing a division of TCM symptoms improved in treatment group than the control group, it means more effective in the treatment group. Generally The results suggest the syndromes improved obviously especially for the patients treated with the modern medicine such as PCI ( percutaneous coronary intervention).no significant syndrome enquiry points differences between the two groups were found in the study due to the short period and few cases. In terms of the points-reducing rate in the integrated treatment group, the research demonstrated syndrome improved better than the control group. Conclusion:the safety were guaranteed of the integrated treatment with the salvia infusion and anti thrombosis also the optimistic intervention of the clotting mechanism to the patients with ACS, no adverse reaction risk added to the patients.
