Music Therapy Literature

Music therapy is one of the recreation therapies of rehabilitative medicine. It gathers listening, singing, playing and performing as a whole, simultaneously in conjunction withother therapy applications. It has affluent contents, diverse forms and reliable efficacy. From ancient times, music has been used to treat disease, initially may be used in worship or Shaman as a song-and-dance way. Along with the transformation to the biological - psychology - society in the mode of medical, nowadays the medical service manifests the more user-friendly treatments. Therefore, music therapy which is painlessness and non-intervention is widely used in clinical subjects.The purpose of the research is to systematize all previous dynasties record about music therapy in the treatment and rehabilitation of the literature, including both theory and practice. We will analyze the mechanism and function of the music therapy and discuss its status in the clinical care and the rehabilitative medicine. Last but not least, we will look forward to the future development direction.The first part of the paper is mainly about the collection of all previous dynasties related music treatment in our country, the analysis about the mechanism and application method of music therapy, the incorporation of some traditional music therapy in the clinical care and the recovery application.There are many literature material and experience of music therapy in the clinical treatment and rehabilitation. The relevant theories and methods will be excavated and reorganized urgently, in order to enrich the modern medical theory and practice of rehabilitation.
