Chinese Medicine Enema Treatment Of Chronic Renal Failure, Clinical Retrospective Study

Objective:To study the curative effect of Enteroclysis of Chinese crude drug on treating Chronic Renal Failure. Study the effective time of using Enteroclysis, the analysis and different treatment of TCM about Enteroclysis, of which the influence on the clinical effect has important meaning. Practise the Enteroclysis of Chinese crude drug by clinical case. Method:The study took the retrospective clinical research method. From June, 2003 to November,2007,forty one patients with CRF were summarized, who had taken on the treatment with Enteroclysis of Chinese crude drug in the nephrology in Wangjing Hospital affiliated to China Academy of Science of TCM and Dongfang Hospital affiliated to Beijing University of TCM. At the end of the treatment, the change of symptoms and BUN,Scr,Ccr of the patients with CRF were Observed and statistically analyzed retrospectively. Choose twenty five pieces of literature on treating CRF with Enteroclysis of Chinese crude drug from CNKI and VIP, the effective rate of the treatment and Chinese crude drugs used in enteroclysis were statistically summarized. Results:The average curative rate of Enteroclysis on treating CRF is 83.24% based on curative effect statistics of twenty five pieces of literature.According to the summing-up of the literature, Chinese crude drugs often used in Enteroclysis are mainly divided into herbs for purgation, herbs for expelling dampness, herbs for promoting blood circulation, herbs for clearing away heat, herbs for clearing away toxin, herbs for warming yang, and herbs for replenishing qi.Dahuang is almost used in every decoction for enteroclysis. During the retrospective clinical research, except the comprehensive routine treatment and oral Chinese Tradition Medicine treatment, the decoction which was made up in the guideline of relieving constipation and purging the turbid-evil,expelling dampness and promoting blood circulation, clearing away heat and toxin, used in enteroclysis for the treatment of CRF, twenty-two days later, the total curative rate of Enteroclysis on treating all of the patients with CRF was 58.54%, while the one of the patients whose Ccr was at the stage of 20-10ml/min reached 75%. Scr,BUN of the patients whose Ccr were at the stage of 20-10ml/min decreased significantly and Ccr rose markedly,P<0.05. While the difference between the patients whose Ccr were at the stage of 10-0ml/min and 50-20ml/min were not statisticaliy significant,as well as the whole paients. Conclusion:Enteroclysis of Chinese crude drug has clinical meaning in prolonging the decline progress of kidney. The patients whose Ccr are at the stage of 20-10ml/min has more obvious clinical curative effect,using enteroclysis of Chinese crude drugs which has the function of relieving constipation and purging the turbid-evil,expelling dampness and promoting blood circulation,clearing away heat and toxin.
