With the progress of refractive surgery and corneal contact lens, corneal topography is becoming a necessary testing item in ophthalmology and visual optics. The measurement of corneal topography can be commendably satisfied by interferometry with the characteristic such as non-contacted, high precision and speediness, so interferometry is becoming an important direction in this domain.The cyclic radial shearing interference is an effective interferometry to test the wavefront. This method is that the tested wavefront will be divided into two amplificatory or contractible wavefronts and the two wavefronts make radial shearing interference in their overlap area, then the information of the tested wavefront can be obtained by processing the interferogram. In this thesis, the actual requirements such as the measuring area of corneal were analyzed and studied. All optical elements were selected by calculations and experiment. Moreover, the measuring equipment for corneal topography was designed and produced and the imaging quality of primary elements was measured. The interference images reflecting the system error were captured. Eventually, radial shearing interference images of the front surface of human eyes cornea were captured and processed.
