Lumbar disc herniation is a degenerative lumbar disc disease,the role of external,fibrous ring broken,the nucleus prominent stimulate or nerve root compression,vascular or spinal cord caused by organizations such as low back pain,and with sciatic nerve pain and other symptoms of radiation For the characteristics of a disease.Low back pains and sciatica caused by lumbar disk herniation(LDH)is the most common disease in China and the incidence in the populationg is around 15%.Conventional treatments include traditional Chinese medicine,massage,cupuncture,acupotomy and surgery operation.In the past ten years,O3 injection developed in Eroupe countries has showed the advantages of inimum trauma,and no side effects,and effective,and with high success ate(more than 80%)as compared with other minimally invasive therapies uch as chemonucleolysis and percutaneous discectomy.Our results suggested that we try this therapeutic strategy to treat such big population of the patients in China. The clinical research results are desciribed in the following three parts. In recent years,the technology in China have also carried out throughout.ObjectiveTo comparate the treatment of Lumbar disc herniation with O3 injection and conservative method,and evaluate the clinical effect of O3 injection for Lumbar disc herniation.MethodsSeventy-five cases of Lumbar disc herniation,which were diagnosed by physical examination,CT scanning and/or MR imaging,were divided randomly into two groups.Thirty-five cases were treated with with O3 injection as observed group,and other forty cases with conservative method as compared group.The clinical outcome of all patients were evaluated by patients' s degree of satisfaction and patients visual analogue scales(VAS). ResultsThe rate of excellent and good results in observed group was 94.3%, it was 80%in compared group in which there was significant stastiscal difference in the clinical effect(P<0.05).And there was significant stastical difference between two groups in time of treatment,patients visual analogue scales and time on recovering in living and working(P<0.01).ConclusionThe successful rate of O3 injection group precede that of the conservative treatment group.And O3 injection method is better method for the treatment of Lumbar disc herniation because it has several advantages of minimal invasion,shorter time of recovery,least pain and excellent effect.As a new minimally invasive technique,O3 injection is an effective,safe treatment for Lumbar disc herniation. O3 injection of the working principleAt present,the O3 treatment of lumbar disc herniation mechanism is not yet very clear.Speculate nucleoplasty mainly on the role of oxidation and destruction,and antiinflammatory analgesic,and other three areas. And other minimally invasive lumbar disc surgery the differenceMost scholars believe that the outstanding nucleus nerve root compression low back pain is one of the important factors,machinery of oppression and aseptic inflammation both equally important,other minimally invasive treatment of different levels to reduce the pressure within the disc and nerve root compression machinery,But failed to ease the symptoms of low back pain.Reason for this is that such treatment has not been able to resolve the inflammation around the nerve root,lumbar muscle strain,ligament degeneration and immune response caused by issues such as aseptic inflammation,and the intervertebral space is narrow and physiological curvature changes and joint dysfunction is also surgery After the important reasons for low back pain.With the elimination of O3 paravertebral nerve root injection and the role of lateral recess aseptic inflammation and ease the tension Back muscle of the spine does not affect the stability and normal joint function.Clinical valueNon-surgical treatment of time-consuming and uncertain effect; surgery for trauma,high costs and restore cycle longer.Lumbar disc herniation minimally invasive treatment of trauma surgery had its small, does not destroy the normal spinal bone structure,fewer complications, effective,the patient less pain,rapid recovery,and other characteristics of the two sides welcomed by the patient and rapid development.O3 injection disc ablation is the most secure treatment intervention,and O3 disinfection sterilization itself,with minor trauma, infection,the cost of a high degree of safety advantages,particularly for surgical treatment has to minimally invasive surgery or other treatment No lifting of the symptoms of patients with O3 therapy will be again,the effect significantly,with the promotion of broad value,worthy of further clinical application.
