Longdanxiegan Liver Capsule Treatment Of Gynecological Disease (hot And Humid Place Card) Clinical Studies

ObjectiveDaixia gynecological disease is the common diseases and frequently-occurring disease. On base of hot and humid bet card of Daixia disease , we use Longdanxiegan Capsule to the treatment of Daixia disease to observe the therapeutic effects and security and compare with Longdanxiegan Pill.Methods1. Clinical data: All the patients come from the gynecological clinic of Chinese Medicine Hospital in Hubei Province and Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jingzhou, from June, 2007 to December, 2007, to averagely randomize 80 patients to control group and treatment group. the control group have 26 cases and the treatment group have 54 cases. Through statistical analysis, the age, scores of TCM Syndrome before treatment and classification of disease of the two groups are comparability.2.Medical usage: The patients in control group take orally Longdanxiegan Pill 3—6g each time, t. i.d and the patients in treatment group take orally Longdanxiegan Capsule 2-5 each time, t. i.d. one period of treatment is two weeks. During the period, others that will have an effect on the result are forbidden, including similar drugs. Moreover, the patients are asked to prohibit sex life and their spouses should be treated accordingly during the period.3.Observation of efficacy and safety: TCM Syndrome of all patients are observed on the first day, the 8th day and 3-5 days of the end. Blood routine, urine routine, liver function (ALT), kidney function (Bun, Cr), electrocardiogram test and vaginal discharge inspection are taken before and after treatment.4. Statistical methods: After treatment, we analyze the data. The Counting materials are examined with X~2, the measuring materials are examined with t-test and the grading materials are examined with Ridit-test.Result1. Comparision of TCM Syndrome effects: The total effective rates of TCM Syndrome are 96.15% and 96. 30% in control group and treatment group. There is not significiantiy different between the two groups (P>0.05). The results show that Longdanxiegan Pill and Longdanxiegan Capsule both obviously improve the recovery of the patients.2. Individual symptoms of TCM Syndrome indicators: Individual symptoms of TCM Syndrome (including the major symptoms and minor symptoms) have improved by different degrees. Through statistical analysis, the improvement of the major symptoms of TCM Syndrome is not significantlydifferent between the two groups (P>0. 05). The improvement of the "Mouthfeel bitter and tired" indicators of the minor symptoms is significantlydifferent between the two groups (P<0. 05). The improvement of others ofthe minor symptoms is not significantly different between the two groups(P>0. 05). The results show that Longdanxiegan Pill and LongdanxieganCapsule both obviously improve individual symptoms of TCM Syndrome ofDaixia disease (hot and humid bet card), and Longdanxiegan Pill is betterthan Longdanxiegan Capsule on the improvement of the " Mouth feel bitterand tired" indicators of the minor symptoms.3.Local signs (gynaecological examinations) effects: Local signs (gynaecological examinations) of the two groups after treatment have improved. Through statistical analysis, there is not significiantly different between the two groups (P>0. 05). The results show that Longdanxiegan Pill and Longdanxiegan Capsule both obviously improve local signs (gynaecological examinations) of Daixia disease (hot and humid bet card).4. Special inspections of individual indicators: After treatment, two special inspections of individual indicators have improved. Through statistical analysis, there is not significiantly different between the two groups (P>0.05). The results show that Longdanxiegan Pill and Longdanxiegan Capsule both obviously improve special inspections of individual indicators of Daixia disease (hot and humid bet card).5. Adverse reactions and side effects: There are not any adverse reactions and side effects in both groups, and there is not significiantly different in laboratory results (blood routine, urine routine, liver function (ALT), kidney function (Bun, Cr), electrocardiogram test) before and after treatment in both groups.ConclusionObservations show that, through statistical analysis, there is not significiantly different between Longdanxiegan Pill control group and Longdanxiegan Capsule treatment group on TCM Syndrome effects and the major symptoms of TCM Syndrome. At the same time, the results of the observations show Longdanxiegan Capsule obviously improve the recovery of the patients. In a conclusion, Longdanxiegan Capsule also has a good foreground for clinic.
