Before And After The The Acupoints Law Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation Observed

Objective: To observe and evaluate the clinical effects of anterior-posterior point association(APPA) for Lumbar Disc Herniation(LDH), to probe its theoretical base and to develop new method and ideas for treatment of LDH.Methods:According the request of prospective studies, this research observed 64 cases of LDH with randomized and controlled methods. The cases were strictly selected by Diagnosis Standard, Exclusion and Inclusion Criteria. The treatment group (34 cases) were treated with APPA while the controlled group (30 cases) were treated with routine therapy. One treatment course covered ten treatments. Both groups were evaluated according Japanese Orthopaedic Association's Assessment of Treatment for Low Back Pain(JOA score)and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)before and after the treatment; Classification was performed after treatment. Research data were collected with Excel and analyzed by SPSS13.0.Results:Classification showed that the total effective rate of treatment and controlled groups respectively were 97.06% and 93.33%,there was no obvious difference(P>0.05); cure rate respectively were 61.76% and 36.67% while the cure rate, and the recovery and excellent effective rate were 88.24% and 66.67%,which indicated obvious difference (P<0.05),the treatment group was better than controlled group. Inner group Evaluation comparation showed great difference of VAS and JOA scores(p<0.01),the average VAS score of the treatment group declined from 6.35 to 1.41 while the controlled group from 6.43 to 2.87; the average JOA score of treatment group raised from 13.76 to 27.06 while controlled group from 14.13 to 24.43.There were obvious differences of both VAS and JOA scores inner the two groups, the treatment group was better than controlled group.Conclusion:①Both APPA therapy and routine therapy have assured effects on treatment of LDH,but the APPA therapy can raise the cure rate greatly.②The APPA therapy works better to release the pain than routine therapy.③The APPA therapy has advantage on developing the symptoms and signs, also the living ability of the patients.This research shows that the clinical effects of APPA therapy has clinical value.
