Composite Resin Indirect Restorations Front Teeth Defects

Dental resin composites were introduced commercially in the mid-1960s for restoration of anterior teeth to meet esthetic requierment.Compared with dental amalgam materials,it has the advantages of matching the shade of natural teeth,being mercuryfree and non-conductive,but has the most critical disadvantage of polymerization shrinkage.The material shrink during the radical polymerization reaction,and contraction stress occurs when the material is rigid enough to resist sufficient plastic flow to compensate for the original volume.The shrinkage stress may adversely affects the maintenance of the bonded interface between composite and dental hard tissues,and can potentially cause debonding and lead to clinical failure of the restorations,which may result in microleakage of fluid,staining of marginal gaps and recurrent caries.And the restorative technique of indirect composite resin restorationhad been developing since the later 1980s.Indirect resin composite systems have been developed to overcome the negative attributes of their porcelain counterparts and to simplify fabrication,insertion and post-delivery adjustments.The use of indirect composite restorations has facilitated the fabrication of ideal anatomic form,marginal adaptation and appropriate proximal contact and contour in a restoration. At present,The teeth defect are usually restored by full crown,post crown.The tooth which has not implicated the dental pulp, particularly when the tooth is small or the necklace of tooth is essence contraction obvious,is unable to obtain the enough shoulder space,to achieve the cosmetology repair for the need,we should make the pulp deactivation,even needs the post crown repair. In the long run the dental pulp deactivation will cause the trouble tooth's intensity to reduce,brittleness increases,and will cause the tooth body color to have the change gradually.Some patients can' t accept the truth that we must strip much tooth tissue,and they intensly request non-invasive restoration.Along with composite resin's development,its resistance to wear andt he intensity gradually enhance,make the indirect compostie resin restoration to restore the tooth defect possibly to become more and more.We apply the syetem of indirect composite resin restorationto restore the normal shape of the tooth without any tooth stripping,and makes the good cosmetology repair progress.This method did not damage to the tooth body,has avoided the photo-curing composite resin to the tooth body's direct stimulation,and received the patients' welcome.
