Objective: to explore the psychosomatic symptoms, conducting and receiving sensibility of the sound wave and electric current at the main points of the spleen and stomach meridians in lower limbs, and discuss the clinical characteristics of FD.Methods: 57 patients with FD were chosen; evaluate the patients with symptom checklist; if the patients wish to cooperate, test the receiving responses to the Gong tonality vibromusic sound wave at the main points of the spleen and stomach meridians in lower limbs, at the same time, the skin electric current of the same point was tested. Compare the results with the control group.Results:1. Epidemiology characteristic: the prevalence in females was higher than males, the median course were 24 months, the syndrome differentiation type of TCM was mainly weakness of the spleen and the stomach and liver-qi stagnancy, the symptoms were mostly lower and middle intensity, and the incidence of epigastric pain, distention and fullness, abdominal distention after meal, belching, poor appetite,early-satiety was over 50%.2. The total scores, positive items and factors scores of depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and somatization in FD group were significantly higher than control group, the correlations between dyspeptic symptoms and factors scores of anxiety and depression were slightly closer than other factors.3. The conducting and receiving sensibility of the Gong tonality vibromusic sound wave at the main points of the spleen and stomach meridians: (1) The conducting sensibility of meridians and acupoints were different from each other; (2) The conducting of the spleen and stomach meridians of the FD group was weaker than the control group; (3) In the FD group, the spleen meridians had higher conducting sensibility than the control meridians and soft tissues, while in the control group the zusanli point of stomach meridian have higher sensibility than other points; (4) Divide the FD into gastric motility disorders form and non-gastric motility disorders form, the diference of interclass of Diji point's receiving sensibility of music sound wave had statistical significance.4. The cutaneous conductivity of the spleen and stomach meridian's acupoints : (1) The Diji and Yinlingquan of spleen meridian, Xiajuxu and Zusanli of stomach meridian of FD group had higher conductivity than the control group, while the control meridians had lower conductivity, the difference had significant meaning; (2) Zusanli had the lowest conductivity and the highest resistance than other acupoints; (3) Differences of the acupoints'skin resistance existed between the left and right side of the human body; the left side was higher than the right side;but the control group had more obvious differences. (4)No significantly association was found between the conductivity of the spleen and stomach meridian's acupoints and the roma II type of FD, the symptom score of epigastric pain and abdominal distention after meal, and the TCM typing. Conclusion: There were affective disorders of depression, anxiety and somatization etc. in patients of FD. The acupoints of the spleen and stomach meridians in lower limbs of FD patients had lower conducting sensibility to the sound wave, while the skin charge passed were higher than the control group. The conducting specificity of the spleen meridian was confirmed. The characteristic of the spleen and stomach's acupoints'conducting of sound wave and the skin conductivity need further research.
