The occurrence of diabetes is associated with lack of exercise. Exercise can help diabetes. Exercise is one of the best methods of curing diabetes. There are many exercise modes of which aerobic exercise is the best one. The test took type 2 diabetes as subjects. Aerobic exercise, strength-aerobic exercise mode and the mixture of them were adopted. The body component and physical quality of the subjects were observed before and after 12 weeks training.The subjects of the test were 51 the elderly. The were all type 2 diabetes of which there were 16 subjects in strength-aerobic group, 14 subjects in aerobic group, 12 subjects in mixed group, and 9 subjects in control group. The exercise intense of the 3 groups is 50-60%VO2max(the target heart rate was 100-130time/min). They exercised 6 times a week by 45-60 minutes per time (including warm up and cool down).The result suggested that the effects of 3 groups on type 2 diabetes were not the same.1. The strain girth of left arm of strength-aerobic group and mixed group raised significantly. The effect of aerobic group on strength of arm was little.2. Body weight and fat mass were reduced by walk.3. The effect of walk on vital capacity was significant. The effect of Strength-aerobic exercise on vital capacity was not significant. And it associated with the training load.
