Deficiency Syndrome Induced Asthma Model In Rats With Sex Hormones

Objective: To probe into the essence of the change about microcosmic factor contentin the body of yang asthenia, through observing model rat of yang asthenia which waslured to wheeze, and detecting the level of sexual hormone (SH) and the other relativefactors'change tendency.Methods. The experimental male rats were randomly divided into seven groups:thenormal control group(Ⅰ), the group of deficiency of kidney-Yang(Ⅱ), the group ofdeficiency of kidney-Yang and wheezing(Ⅲ),the group of deficiency of kidney-Yangand wheezing and jinguishengqi pill(Ⅳ), the group of normal control andwheezing(Ⅴ), the group of normal control and wheezing and jinguishengqi pill(Ⅵ),the group of normal control and wheezing and BA Capsule of pacifying wheeze(Ⅶ)The model rat of deficiency of kidney-Yang was made by removing two sides testisand parastata,using aluminium hydroxide suspl with egg albumin (OVA) of peritonealinjection to allergize it, using the method of atomizating normal saline solution (NSS)with OVA and sucking in to arouse its asthma. During lab process, observing andtaking notes of every rat group's change about intake of food and drink, urination anddefecation, spirit condition,color pattern, range of motion, body weight; carryingout statistical analysis to thirty minutes' symptom index of the last luringwheeze.Using radio-immunity(RI) to detect the blood content of serumtestosterone(T), serum estradio(E₂), follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH), luteotrop hic-hormone (LH). Simultaneously undertaking pathomor-phology observation of rat lungtissue.Results: In each group of deficiency of kidney-Yang,the rat had these symptoms likechilly, nephrasthenia, diuresis, thin and noncoagulative sedes, dull reaction, scrunch,olig-extrado, less to move and so on. In the group of jinguishengqi pill, the symptomsabove-mentioned became lighter,and discovered that the group of deficiency ofkidney-Yang was easier to be lured to wheeze, and in it the symptoms abovementioned became significant.Through detecting the sexual hormone (SH) content, and discovered that in the groupof deficiency of kidney-Yang against the normal control group,the T content droppedsignificantly,and E₂/T,LH content rised notably, luting to wheeze could lead to thisresults in the normal control group and more easily in the group of deficiency ofkidney-Yang after giving the traditional Chinese medicine of warmming kidney toeach group all index could reach the normal content.Through undertaking pathomorphology observation of rat lungtissue thehistopathology change became more obvious in the group of deficiency ofkidney-Yang lured to wheeze than in that normal control group lured to wheeze, aftergiving the traditional Chinese medicine of warmming kidney and pacifyingwheeze,that histopathology change was just a little.Conclusion: this research proved that the yang asthenia syndrome and the syndromeof deficiency of kidney-Yang in the body have relation with SH content change. SHmay be a key microcosmic factor existing the yang asthenia syndrome.The deficiencyof kidney-Yang may be the pathologic foundation of the asthma disease in the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),the imbalance of SH content may be thepathology foundation of the chronic and recurring asthma disease.The rat ofdeficiency of kidney-Yang is easier lured to wheeze than the normal rat, at the sametime, the asthma disease could aggratate the syndrome of deficiency of kidney-Yang.
