| Object: To investigate the effect of warming Yang and diuretic of hydragogue to alleviate water retention prescription on Congestive Heart Failure(CHF).Method: Forty-six CHF patients are divided into western medicine control group and conbined treatment group of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine. There are twenty-three patients in both group. To analyze the total effective rate and the level ofβ-natriuretic peptide(BNP).Result: Total effective rate increased significantly in conbined treatment group of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine (91.3%) compared with western medicine control group (69.57%) (p＜0.05). The level of BNP decreased in both group(western medicine control group p＜0.05; conbined treatment group of traditional Chinese medicine p＜0.01) while it decreased more significantly in conbined treatment group of traditional Chinese medicine compared with western medicine control group (p＜0.05).Conclusion: warming Yang and diuretic of hydragogue to alleviate water retention prescription has adjunctive therapy effect on CHF. It maybe through decrease level of BNP to come true. |
