This paper was divided into three parts. The first part is the study of chemical changes of TCM in prepared process. We have chosen twelve kinds of TCM, such as Euphorbia kansui Liou etc., using HPLC to analyze the whole chemical changes. The results showed that quantitative and qualitative changes occurred during TCM prepared process. The second part is the study of chemical changes of TCM in compound prescription. We found that there are some constituents were disappeared and some new constituents were created during compatibility. The result told us that compound prescription of TCM have its own scientific bases for its particular curative effect. In third part, we investigated content determination of active componentsResveratrol and Polydatin in the leaves of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc.. This research would provide the clue on further use of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc.. and give important information on biosynthsis of chemical compounds in the plant.
