Cordyceps Preparations Of Bailing Capsule Treatment Of Chronic Renal Insufficiency, Kidney Deficiency Syndrome Of 48 Cases Of Clinical Efficacy Observed

Chronic renal failure (CRF) is a clinical syndrome, in which nephrons are damaged severely and the creatinine clearance rate is reduced by any disease that causes gradual loss of kidney function. Sequentially, dysfunction is unavoidable in excreting metabolized waste, accommodating water, electrolyte and the balance between acid-alkali. Chinese herbs have multiple effects on combating Chronic renal failure , especially on ameliorating all kinds of clinical symptoms, increasing creatinine clearance rate , depressing Serum creatinine and Blood urea nitrogen and so on. Consequently, kidney function is protected efficaciously. Accordingly, it is significant to do further research on the treatment of CRF with Chinese medicine. There are mainly two parts in this thesis, including literature review and clinical studies.Literature review will be presented in three sections. The first is Advances of Modern Medicine Researches on CRF, which dissertates characteristics of CRF and advancements of its treatment from the view of modern medicine. The second is treatment with Chinese Medicine on CRF, which narrates the status of treatment with Chinese Medicine on CRF. The third is Advances of Cordyceps sinensis on Curing CRF , which elucidates literature recordation of Cordyceps sinensis, functional mechanism on its treating CRF and clinical observation of its curative effect.In clinical studies, choose 48 patients with CRF. Along with a same basic therapy, all the patents were treated with man-made Cordyceps sinensis,Bailing Capsule, and prohibited using other drugs or instrument. During the whole treatment of 56 days, analysis on the qualitative determination of Scr, BUN and Ccr was performed. Clinical symptoms were improved. Results showing that Bailing increased creatinine clearance rate and decreased Serum creatinine suggest that this method could improve glomerular filtrating function to eventually ameliorate renal function of the patients suffering from Chronic renal failure. In conclusion, BaiLing can significantly improve clinical symptoms, renal function and nutriture in the Patient of CRF at advanced stage. It is an effective program for CRF at advancedstage.
