Object: Implant different intraocular lens during the cataract surgery, mensurate the numerical value of wave—front aberration and Contrast Sensitivity Function after surgery. Analyze postoperative vision function with different IOL and probe into the diversity of those IOL in order to provide guidance for cataract patients to choice IOL.Method: To observe 50 cases of patients who accept phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation in Jiangshu provincial hospital of TCM, 30 case of these patients were implanted SA60AT lens of Alcon and 20 case were implanted Sensar lens. The refractive factors of both groups pre-and post-operation was observed including the visual acuity, best corrected visual acuity, wave — front aberration and Contrast Sensitivity Function.Result: CSF of Sensar lens group have significant difference compared with SA60AT lens group at 1 week after surgery. Sensar lens group' s root-mean-square of wave—front aberration is less than SA60AT lens group and they have difference. At 1 month after surgery the CSF of Sensar lens group still better than SA60AT lens group but there is no difference between them. Sensar lens group' s RMS of overall aberrations is better than SA60AT lens group without difference. Sensar lens group' s RMS of 4th and overall high-order aberrations is still better than SA60AT lens group and have different. Conclusion: The different lens cause different visual function after phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation surgery. Through the observe of CSF and wave—front aberration we can see the Sensar lens have better visual function than SA60AT lens.
