Chinese Medicine Injection Preparations Standardized Evaluation Of Cerebral Infarction

At present, Cerebral infarction (CI) is a common disease that threats people' s health seriousely. Because of its high rate of incidence and mortality, the endanger becomes outstanging. In this paper,we review and summarize the recognization of ancident Chinese medicine and morden development of CI. In recent years, with the development of pharmacology, the valid ingredients of herb are extracted. They are widely used in the treatment and prevention of stroke. According to the principle of GCP,we conduct this trial to evaluate the effects of herb on ACI.A randomized, blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter clinical trial was conducted, 115 patients was enrolled in this study. Using the same basic treatment, we devided the patients into 4 groups:MaiLuoNing injection group,puerarin injection group, Gingko injection and placebo group. The main observation indexes included: nerve dysfunction, daily life activity(ADL and BARTHEL index), life quality index and total effect. The result shows that the traditional treatment has favorable effects on acute and convalescenceed CI. There is no statistic significance among these groups. There is no statistic significance among the observation indexs of these groups as well.According to the result of this trial, we concluded that there is no evidence show that based on traditional treatment, the 3 herb injection added have any advantage on the treatment of cerebral infarction, the possibility can not be excluded that the 3 herb injection we selected have no true curative effect on the therapy of ACI. More large scale, randomized,blind trials are needed to confirm there real effects on acute cerebral infarction.
