Objective: To evaluate the clinical acupuncture method of eliminating fat and benefiting water to treat the simple obesity that the differentiation is dampness and water accumulated inside which applies the accordance for the clinic.Method: The research used the random contrast and single-blinded test. The disease diagnosis standard is reference to the new obesity standard put forward by the WHO in 1999 and the standard by the rap session "the danger of Chinese people obesity and disease" in 2001, June. Applied the acupuncture method of eliminating fat and benefiting water to treat the simple obesity that the differentiation is dampness and water accumulated inside created by the famous Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor Hu Linxiang in Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine compared with the common acupuncture method, there are 30 cases in each group, 5 days is one course, and the total is 6 courses. The SPSS13.0 are used to analyze the statistics to compare the acupuncture method of eliminating fat and benefiting water with the common acupuncture to treat the obesity according to the contrast of the patients' weight, fat rate, waistline, buttockline for-and-aft treatment.Result: There are 60 patients whereas 57 finished the whole research and 3 lost.
