| ObjectiveThe sub-health state of perimenopausal period is a concept to describe the uncomfortable feeling of body, the unwell state of psychology or the failed adaptive capacity of human social communication of the climacteric group. Through this research, we observed the influence of the Genniananyi Recipe to the sub-health state of climacteric group by applying the TCM questionnaire, tried to approach the mechanisms of the actions in TCM theory and provide the theoretical foundation for the clinical application.Methods1 Object of the survey114 women judged to climacteric sub-health state were divided into two groups randomly, 58 women were treated by Gengniananyi Recipe belong to the treated group, the other 56 women were not treated belong to the contrast group.2 Judge criterionâ‘ The uncomfortable feelings of body, the unwell state of psychology or the failed adaptive capacity of human social communication lasted repeatedly for at least 3 months, which could maintain the normal work at living time.â‘¡No great organic or psychological diseasesâ‘¢ The less great organic diseases needn't be maintained by medicine and had no causal association with the uncomfortable state.â‘£Women of 45-55 ages3 Observation methodEvery woman should finish filling in the questionnaire as requested. The women of treated group should fill in the questionnaire once more after 1 month's therapy. Furthermore, the women of contrast group should also fill in the questionnaire 1 month later. Number 1 to number 5 scored all the answers to the grading questions.4 Statistical indexâ‘ The main body symptom: 19 main body symptoms were reflected as questions in the questionnaire. The answers to the questions were scored by 1 to 5 according to the symptom degree. The higher score showed the worse body feeling.â‘¡Sleep quality: Every answer of 7 questions reflecting 7 aspect of sleep quality was scored. Totaled on 7 scores as one. The higher score indicated the poorer sleep quality.â‘¢Quality of life: 29 questions reflecting the quality of life were divided into 4 fields.
