OBJECTIVE: To seek evidence for the traditional theory of "Lung and LargeIntestine are interiorly-exteriorly related" through research on Neuropeptide in asthma guinea pigs by treating Lung and Large Intestine simultaneously.METHODS : Build up asthma model by ovabumin attacking, treat the animals by dexamethason (DXM), JiaWeiShengJiangSan and two apart prescription of JiaWeiShengJiangSan separately 1 hour before OVA challenge. Observe the total number of WBC and eosinophil(EOS) in bronchial alveolar lavage fluid(BALF), observe the content of three Neuropeptide in Lung and Large Intestine through immunofluorescence.RESULTS: treat the Lung and Large intestine simultaneously can restrain inflammation reaction in Lung tissue, can reduce the total number of WBC and EOS in BALF, can reduce the content of SP,CGRP in both Lung and Large Intestine.CONCLUSION: treat the Lung and Large intestine simultaneously have thetreatment effect to asthma guinea pig. There maybe exist immune relations between Lung and Large Intestine.
