| Objective: To observe the evidence for the traditional theory of "Lung and Large Intestine are interiorly-exteriorly related" through research on eosinophils apoptosis,Thl/Th2 correlation factor interleukin-4 and interferon-γin bronchial asthma chmice by treating Lung and Large Intestine simultaneously.Methods: Build up asthma model by the mixture with ovabumin(OVA) and Al(OH)3. Afer treated the allergic asthma chmice with herbs,observe lung and gut simultaneously as the train of research thoughts. Optical microscope observing for the morphologic change of lung ang gut tissues; ELISA deterring for the expression of IL-4 and IFN-γin lung tissue were tested;TUNEL dectering for the content of eosinophils apoptosis were tested.Result:①The inflammatory cell infiltration and epithelium mucosae damage in the bronchus wall and its periphery is slight in "Feing Chang He Zhi" treatment group, intestinal mucosa inflammatory reaction and mucosa damage on each group was not evident.②Comparing with model group, the lung rate of eosinophils apoptosis are high significantly (P < 0.001 ) in "Fei Chang He Zhi"group,so as the gut (P>0. 05) .③Comparing with model group, the change of lung and gut tissues of "Feing Chang He Zhi" treatment group, positive control group and pathology model group appear functionality (P < 0.05), and "Zhi Fei"treatment group and "Zhi Chang" treatment group have no relativity (P>0. 05) .④Comparing with model group, the content of Serum IL-4 in "Feing Chang He Zhi" treatment group are low significantly (P < 0.01), the content of Serum IFN-γare high (P < 0.05) ,the rate of IL-4/IFN-γdisrate lightly (P<0.05) .Conclution:①"Fei Chang He Zhi" therapy can restrain inflammatory cell infiltration of lung tissue and membrana mucosa damage of bronchus of allergic asthma mogs.②"Fei Chang He Zhi"therapy can advance the rate of eosinophils apoptosis of lung, which can further promote the rate of eosinophils apoptosis of gut.③"Fei Chang He Zhi" therapy can accommodate lung and gut eosinophils apoptosis simultaneously. It is possibly one of the molecule mechanisms of the influence of the therapy on allergic asthma.④"Fei Chang He Zhi"therapy can adjust the balance of Th1/Th2 cell by degrading the expression of IL-4,upgrading the expression of IFN-γ. |
