Nourishing Formula And Treatment Of Early Clinical Observations, Of The Medium-term Diabetic Nephropathy

Object ive:To observe the clinical effect and security of traditional Chinese herbsto treat early and metaphage diabetic nephropathy (DN) patients throughthe clinical study of Yi Qi Yang Yin prescription plus westernmedicine .To probe the best therapy to cure the disease.Method:64 patients were elected from the out-patient and in-patient departmentscases in HuBei Province Hospital of TCM who were diagnosed early andmetaphage DN. They were divided into two groups at random: Yi Qi YangYin prescription plus western medicine group(A) and western medicinegroup(B). Each group had 32 cases. Gliquidone,Ramipuil, Fluvastat in andsymptoms treatment were given to the group B. On the base of abovetreatment group A was added Yi Qi Yang Yin prescription. The course oftreatment was 8 weeks.We observed the symptoms , signs and examined electrocardiogram,Lipemia, Renal Funcfion, Live Funcfion, Blood-Rt pre-treatment andpast-treatment, urinary albumin excretion and blood sugar wereexamined before, during and after treatment.The results were analyzedstatistically in t,x~2 and Radit test.Result:1. The total effective rate of group A was 81.25%, while group B was 68.75%. There was significant difference between them (P<0.01).2. The accumulative mark of TCM symptoms had distinctly decreased after treatment. There was significant difference between groups on the mark after treatment (P<0.01).3. Group A could decrease urine protein , improve the RF and control Lipemia. The effect was better than group B(P<0. 05). There was no significant difference between them in controlling BS(P>0.05).4. Compared with group B, group A had differential effect in improving the patients' clinical symptoms (P<0.05).5. There was not abnormal change during treatment period . All the indexes were stable or better after treatment .All these indicated that Yi Qi Yang Yin prescription had not harmful reaction. It was safe in the course of clinical application.Conclusion:Group A had better effect to the early and metaphage DN patients than group B in improving symptoms, signs and experiment indexes(P<0. 05). Yi Qi Yang Yin prescription was safe, effective and harmless in clinical application. Therefore, the united treatment could markedly keep long-relief to the patients of early and metaphage DN.
