Depression, Clinical Observations, From The Singularity By The Theory Of Governance

Objective: To observe clinical effect on depression by needling acupointsrelated to extra meridians.Methods: 48 patients visited Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning College of TCMwere chosen randomly from February 2003 to February 2005.Results: There was significant difference in HRSD scale score before and aftertreatment (P<0.05) The total curative effect reached 91.1%.Conclusion: The curative effect on treating depression by needling acupointsrelated to extra meridians was satisfying and safe. There was no toxic and sideeffects during the observing course.
