Hyperuricemia, the serum uric acid level being higher than 417μmol/L, is in direct correlation with artherosclerosis, obesity, hyperlipemia, hypertension and diabetes. It is one important risk factor of artherosclerosis, and acute myocardial infarction and stroke happen more frequently in the patient with heart disease or cerebrovascular disease accompanied with hyperuricemia. More and more proof indicated that hyperuricemia may be one of the independently risk factor of cardiovascular disease. Our study explored the TCM syndrome of hyperuricemia for the first time, and the study indicated that Qi-deficiency,deficiency of heart and stagnation of blood are the main TCM syndrome. In the same time it verified the various risk factors of hyperuricemia, coronary artery disease, hypertension, sex and age. It is proved that in our study the ZhuSuanHuoXue Prescription is obviously efficient for decreasing serum uric acid of the CHD patient with asymptomatic hyperuricmia. The conclusion supplied reliable evidence for a further research of the TCM syndrome of hyperuricemia and treating it with traditional Chinese medicine. The next step will be enlarging the sample of subject in our study.
