Only Consumer Protection Renal Treatment Of Diabetic Nephropathy With Renal Insufficiency (yin And Yang Deficiency Type)

Diabetic nephropathy(DN), as the most common complications of diabetes mellitus (DM), is one of the chief causes of death in DM patients, also results in heavy pecuniary burden for patients's family and the society. This thesis concerns prevention and cure of DN with Chinese medicine, involves in 4 parts, review, experience of director, clinical research and empirical study.The review articles discussed progression of Chinese and western medicine on etiopathogenisis, pathogenesis and therapeutics of DN, analyzed and confirmed the curative effect on DN of some western medicines such as angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI), Angiotensin II receptor antagonist (ARB); and some single Chinese herbs and complex prescriptions; summarized the characteristic and superiority of determination of treatment based in pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs in Chinese medicine.In part of experience of director, there summarized the academic cognition and experience on medication of professor Zhao Jinxi. Professor Zhao thinks highly of body constitution in analysis of DM etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis, upholds theory of mini-abdominal mass, stands for differentiating symptoms and signs by stages and integrate control, especially he emphasizes searching for root cause of diseases, and regards the experience as important of removing blood stasis and eliminating accumulation, dispelling turbid pathogenic factors and removing toxic materials.In clinical research, we collected 67 DN patients, 22 cases were cured by Zhixiaobaoshenning combining with western placebo; 23 by western medicine (Losartan) combining with Chinese placebo; 22 by Zhixiaobaoshenning combining with Losartan. We contrasted the quantificat scores of symptoms in Chinese medicine and laboratory reports in order to analyze the curative effect and indication of Zhixiaobaoshenningin treating DN, explain the idea in prescription compatibility and medication characteristic of Zhixiaobaoshenning. Results: (1) All the treatment plans showed significant curative effect and security for DN, and there was no significant difference in recent curative effect between Chinese medicine and Angiotensin II receptor antagonist Losartan, the effect of which is admitted internationally. (2) In controlling of urine protein, 24h quantitative urine protein results showed that the effect of Chinese medicine and combination of Chinese with western medicine were superior than that of Losartan. (3) In controlling of hyperlipemia, there was no significant difference between Chinese medicine and Losartan in lowering cholesterol and c-LDL (low density lipoprotein cholesterol), both medicineshowed distinguished effect. (4) In evaluating the improving of syndromes and quality of life, there showed distinguished improvement in all groups, Chinese medicine and combination of Chinese with western medicine had an advantage than Losartan.
