| Objective: To investigate the clinical effect and safety of shenfuling on the treatment of glomerular diseases of asthenia of spleen and kidney of children , and try to find out the mechanics of shenfuling through clinical experiment.Method: 60 children from out-department and in -department children with glomerular diseases of asthenia of spleen and kidney were selected and randomly divided into tow groups: an acupoint sticking therapuetic / treatment group (treated with shenfuling), and a control group ( usually treated with western medicine and Chinese herbal oral drugs); 30 children for each group. All the children in each group were not significantly differently on sex , age and situation of diseases. We observed their symptoms and signs of pre-theatment and post-treatment(after 6 and 12 months). Immunoglobulin(IgG, IgA, IgM), Cor, serus Zn, serus Cu, and blood rheology were also measured to evaluate the effect of shenfuling.Results: The symptoms and signs of thechildren in both groups were better after the treatment. after the acupoint sticking therapy , the infection times, stool situation , lingua and vien sign of the children can improve significantly.from the data we can see that the total effective rate of the treatment group were better than the control group. increased a little in IgG,IgA and IgM (P>0.05) ; Cor, Serus Cu increased obviousely in treatment group(P < 0.05) compared with the control group; blood rheology improved at a certain level,but not significantly (P>0.05 ) .Conlusion: Shenfuling has sinificantly clinical effect in the treatment on glomerular diseases of asthenia of spleen and kidney of children . It could effectively alleviate the symtoms and signs without obvious toxicity and ill-effect. Shenfuling could regulate immunoligical function of the children with glomerular diseases, improve their renal function and prevent their renal function from getting worse further. The mechanism of shenfuling in the treatment on glomerular diseases of asthenia of spleen and kidney of children may be lie in: through dilating extra vesseels, improve blood circulation ,regulate neuroendocrine system, regulate immune function, and improve serus Cor, Zn and blood stream of kidney, reduce the abnormal distribution of extracellular matrix (ECM), make kidney function better. |
