From The Kidney Network Zhengjia On The Governance Of Clinical Studies Of Chronic Glomerulonephritis

Chronic Glomerulonephritis (CGN) is a kind of common disease of the Medical Department. It is happened in a highest rate in all kinds of the renal diseases, and it is also the common reason to lead to the end-stage renal disease(ESRD). Chinese medicine has certain effects on curing CGN. For example, it can release the syndrome, cut down urine protein, so that we can delay the development of being chronic renal failure. All in all, developing the research of Chinese medicine on CGN has important sense. The thesis includes two parts,review and clinical research. The review part includes two papers.The first one was about the theory of the current research of Chinese medicine on CGN.It introduces the etiological factor, pathogenesis, method, medicine, questions and hope. The second one reviewed the research development of modern medicine on CGN,discussing the awareness of the etiological factor and pathogenesis and the development of the treatment of modern medicine on CGN. In clinical study part,we selected 62 patients of CGN,and divided them into two groups randomly and comparably,32 cases were in subject group,30 in control group.Both of groups were treated by basic treatment(including generally treat and medicine according to the symptom). Otherwise,the subject group was treated by Chinese herb.The control group was treated by Lotensin.To observe the urine protein in 24 hours,scores of Chinese medicine symptom and the curative effect after two months.Results: in subject group,the urine protein in 24 hours decreased very sharply(p<0.01),while in control group,it also deceased sharply(p<0.05).In both group,there were significantly imporment in symptom scores,but the effect was better in subject group and there were statistical difference between the two groups. It concluded that under the guidance of Shenluozhengjia theory,Chinese medical treatment to delay development of CGN ,to increase the patient's QOL and to decease the urine protein is remarkable. The effects are better than Lotensin. So this study of Chinese medical treatment on CGN is of great sense.
