| The concept of "preventive acupuncture" has become a focus in recent years, which has been regarded extensively by the republic of acupuncture specialists. It means to stimulate some points of the body by acupuncture in advance, which can improve the ability of defending disease and meeting an emergency and make the body produce the function of preventing and alleviating the tissue's and organ's injury by the subsequent disease. Preventive acupuncture has the characteristic of benign stimulating source, which can mobilize the body potential, start up internal protecting mechanism to improve the ingenerate ability of defending disease and meeting an emergency and will not produce side-effect of tissue's and organ's injury or functional decompensate. It is the concrete embodiment and validation of the theory of "treat undisease"and the researching and developing method of irritability theory. A lot of experiments identified that preventive acupuncture has better preventive function to immunity disorder disease. It can regulate the disorder of body immunity function through regulating the cell gene. It can also slow decrepitude of the body and improve the ability of anti-oxidant and anti-ageing.Menopause syndrome is a common disease which occurs during the interim from procreate phase to agedness phase.It means the decline of the function of ovary and the decrease of the estrogen level which cause the symptoms of disorder of the endocrine and vegetative nervous.It can also go with some complication such as cardio-cerebrovascular disease, gynecological tumour and so on.lt belongs to the category of "all kinds of symptoms before and after menopause" in TCM.lt has been identified that acupuncture can alleviate the clinical symptom of syndrome in menopause and regulate many links of Neural -Endocrine-Immunity. It has the advantages of reliable curative effect, economic and convenient and no side effect. At present, however, the research is even relatively little that acupuncture prevents and alleviates clinical symptom and complication of the woman body in proper period from preventive point of view. Thus it is very important to help the female deal with the especial phase through alleviating the rabidity situation of deficiency of kidney qi and exhausted source substance.The experiment takes the natural old rats as the model of natural climacteric rats. We observe the effect of preventive acupuncture to all the relevant indexes of behaviouristics, morphology of uterus and ovary(HE colouration),uterus and ovary index,some relative indexs of procreate-endocrine and immunity function through applying the method that comparing "Guan yuan point" group by preventive acupuncture with the model group and applying the technique of radio-immunity, histopathology and information processing of the computer.The propose of this experiment is to probe into some mechanisms tentatively through which preventive acupuncture prevents menopause syndrome by combining theory of Neural -Endocrine-Immunity net;then to probe into the preventing and treating significanceof preventive acupuncture to syndrome in menopause which will provide scientific gist to preventive acupuncture preventing and treating syndrome in menopause. The main result this experiment is as follows:1. The change of behaviouristics of the natural climacteric model rats and the influence to it through preventive acupuncture.The rats of natural group manifest hyponoia, decrease of behavior, tarnished coat, tousy hair,obvious inappetence.The increase of weight is quickened and the percentum of weight increase becomes higher obviously (P<0.05, P<0.01) .After Preventive acupuncting Guan yuan point,the behavior and diet increase.,the colour and luster of the coat and the degree of the tousy hair improved. The increase of weight is slowed and the percentum of weight increase becomes lower obviously (P<0.05, P<0.01) .2.
