| ObjectiveThe acupuncture and moxibustion treatment is a part of traditional medical science in the motherland, and a kind of treatment method with definite curative effect. In recent years, medical personnels have all done a large number of work while studying in the acupuncture and moxibustion clinic and experiment of treating the Essential Hypertension (EH) ,affirming that acupuncture and moxibustion treatment has good curative effect on Essential Hypertension , finding mechanism that acupuncture and moxibustion step down in many aspects , multilevel , many adjustment function of link. But according to existing reports, in observation of every unit using acupuncture to treat the Essential Hypertension, it is different to select the Xue, the difference of curative effect is great too, therefore use following the medical research approach of the card of the norm, the clinc study of effective Xue foundation that know already, must become. Furtherly prove the acupuncture "FengChi" is the effective method to treat the Essential Hypertension, observe its curative effect, meet card , security and bad reaction, offer the scientific clinical basis for " Xue Lexicon of the People's Republic of China ". And the immune mechanism stepping down to acupuncture and moxibustion at present is studied and still shown insufficiently, this subject through observing the influence on IL-6 and ET express with acupuncture "FengChi" Xue to treat the EH, in the hope of offering the theoretical foundation for acupuncture and moxibustion in terms of immunology,offering beneficial enlightenment for promoting the combination of acupuncture and moxibustion and modern medical science better.MethodsAll the 60 in-patients who come from acupuncture and moxibustion department of the first hospital in Wuhan, according to history symptom and physical examination and the criteria for diagnosing and classification of the EH made by World Health Organization (WHO)/ International Society of Hypertension (ISH)in 1999, were divided into two groups at random: acupuncture group 30 cases and Betaloc group 30 cases. Acupuncture group: we select the FengChi Xue (pair), 1 times a day , it is a course of treatment in 2 weeks, treat 2 courses of treatment altogether. Betaloc group: Take Betaloc 100mg orally, morning once a day, it is a course of treatment in 2 weeks, treat 2 courses of treatment altogether. Two groups of case forbid any other ones that can exert an influence on the result of treating during treating and observing. Observe the blood pressure change before and after treating in 15min , 30min. To evaluate the curative effect according to the clinical research guideline of medicine for cardiovascular system that Ministry of Public Health makes in 1998 in unison after 2 courses of treatment. Collect elbow vein blood of all cases at the same time on an empty stomach before moving about after waking up before treating and after 2 courses of treatment to observe the content of periphery blood IL-6 and ET.Carry on statistical analysis finally.Results1.The acupuncture group rescent effective rate is 90%,but the Betaloc group is 66.7%.The acupuncture group rescent effective rate is higher than Betaloc group.There is a significant difference between the two groups, P<0.05.2.The acupuncture group immediate effective rate is 70%,but the Betaloc group is 63.33%. The acupuncture group immediate effective rate is higher than Betaloc group, two groups do not relatively have a significant difference P<0.05. The blood pressure has alreadly descended after 15 minutes in acupuncture group, compared with the situation before acupuncture, difference have extraordinary significant meaning (P<0.01), Betaloc group begins the effect in 30minutes.3.The content of IL-6 and ET is obviously reduced , there is a relatively extraordinary significant difference P<0.01 with treating by acupuncture.
