Many clinicalresearches and epidemiological surveys have found that the incidence rates of the twodiseases have been increasing in our country recently with the improvement ofpeople's standard of living. At the same time, many patients of the two diseases usuallyhave been found with the abnormity of hemorheological and fibrinolytic activities. Theabnormity nearly associate with the development of hyperuricemia. They compose thehigh dangerous factors to cardiovascular diseases. Today, the investigations ofassociation about the abnormity of purine and lipid metabolism with hemorheologyand fibrinolytic activities only been reported in clinical. There are not special basicresearch about it. So it's very important to investigate the changes of hemorheologicaland fibrinolytic activities in the condition of hyperuricemia and it's complications. Based on reviewing modern and ancient relative literature and the researchbackground of our laboratory about hyperuricemia, we observe the changes ofhemorheological and fibrinolytic activities in the condition of hyperuricemia and it'scomplications, and we investigate the effects of cichory extracts N2 on the changes,anddiscuss the possible mechanism of the complication and the treat mechanism ofcichory extracts N2. The research is divided into two parts: theoretical research and experimentalresearch. The theoretical research is composed of two parts: 1.The study of modern medicine about hyperuricemia, the complication ofhyperuricemia-hypertriglyceridemia, hemorheology and fibrinolytic activities; thecognition of Traditional Chinese Medicine about hyperuricemia and the complicationof hyperuricemia-hypertriglyceridemia with other correlative diseases. 2.The progress of study of cichory: we reviewed the ingredients andpharmalogical effects of cichory systemically. The experimental research is also divided into two parts: 1.The pathologic study of the changes of hemorheology and fibrinolytic activitiesin the model We observed the changes of hemorheology and fibrinolytic activities in the modelsof hyperuricemia and the complication of hyperuricemia-hypertriglyceridemiarespectively. The results showed that the whole blood viscosity (WBV) increasedremarkably at every shear rate in the condition of hyperuricemia, but those factors thateffecting WBV were not obviously different compared with that of control group. Soè‹±æ–‡æ‘˜è¦ - V -we suppose that the obvious changes of WBA are a result of many factors' smallchanges. At the same time, we also found that there is a declining trend in fibrinolyticactivities. The WBV also has been clear changes at every shear rate in the condition of thecomplication of hyperuricemia-hypertriglyceridemia, those factors that effecting WBVchange clearly and there is a distinct abnormity in fibrinolytic activities. The resultsindicated that there are remarkably changes in hemorheology and fibrinolytic activitiesin the models along with the disease development. 2.The study of the effect and mechanism of cichory extracts N2 on hemorheologyand fibrinolytic activities of the models We researched the effect and mechanism of cichory extracts N2 on hemorheologyand fibrinolytic activities of the models of hyperuricemia and respectively. The resultsindicated: After treatment with cichory extracts N2, hemorheology was significantlyimproved than that of model quails. The cichory extracts N2 can improve the WBV,the effect is close associated with the decrease of the plasma viscosity hematocrit andthe improvement of erythrocyte deformability ESR.
