Enema To Promote Early Recovery Appendectomy Gastrointestinal Function

[Objective] Object whether Enema Glycerini can promote the function ofgastrointestine of patients after early period of appendectomy. [Material andmethod] Choose 60 patients of appendicitis without any serious diseases who weredivided randomly into treated and comparison group. Both group were given the sametreatment after the operation of appendectomy. The treated group patients were givenEnema Glycerini to clyster at 12 hours after the operation, the speed of clysteingis 40ml/s. Both groups were objected the time of farting and evacuation and bowelsound. [Result] The time of farting of treated group is 1.2±0.4 days, the time ofevacuation is 2.57±1.19 days; the time of farting of comparison group is 2.17±0.53 days, the time of evacuation is 2.93±1.23 days. The bowel sound of most patientsrecovery at the first day after the operation. [Conclusion] After the operation ofappendectomy, early using Enema Glycerini to clyster can promote the function ofgastrointestine of appendicitis patients.
