Background: With the continuous development of clinical surgery, medical branch gradually refined, and the "patient-centered" (for early normalization after surgery with patient, s excellent satisfaction) deepening the concept of how to speed up rehabilitation surgery (enhanced recovery, after surgery, ERAS) has become the focus of clinical research surgeon,That is to say, how to reduce the stress reaction to the body and promote the rapid recovery of the human body function. The main clinical manifestation is how to reduce the incidence of complications, shorten the length of stay and reduce the cost of hospitaliat-ion.The main clinical manifestation is how to reduce the incidence of compli-cations, shorten the length of stay and reduce the cost of hospitalization. Acupuncture is an important branch of traditional medicine, because it is simple, fast, cheap, without oral characteristics favored, and there are a lot of clinical trials of acupuncture on the recovery of gastrointestinal function after surgery can promote, together with traditional medicine and modern medicine, will gradually become the focus of peri operative clinical surgeons research accelerated rehabilitation surgery with combination of TCM and Western medicine. Objective: Observation of acupuncture points on the appendix influence the recovery of gastrointestinal function after laparoscopic appendectomy, and the possible mechanism was discussed, combined to provide an effective method for improving gastrointestinal dysfunction after appendectomy for treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, in order to enrich the treatment combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the promotion and application of general surgery.Method: From March 2016 to December 2016 in the first clinical medical college of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in general surgical wards of 60 patients were diagnosed as acute suppurative appendicitis, and general anesthesia in laparoscopic appendectomy (LA). The patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in the treatment group and the other in the control group (n = 30).At the age of 18-65 years old; the operation time was 0.5-2 hours; intraoperative bleeding is less than 20ml, the amount of bleeding were compared between the two groups in gender, age, operation time, operation, there was no significant difference (P > 0.05).The control group was treated with conventional anti infection, fluid replacement and other basic treatment. The treatment group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of anti infection and fluid replacement therapy,Observe two groups of patients in the first anal exhaust time, first defecation time, recovery time of bowel sound, TCM syndrome score, average hospitalization days, average hospitalization fees, and compared differences.Result: The treatment group in the first anal exhaust time, first defecation time, recovery time of bowel sound, TCM syndrome score, average hospitalization days, average hospitalization expenses were better than the control group, after statistical analysis, there were significant differences (P < 0.05).Conclusion: Based on the western medicine of anti-inflammatory, rehydration, nutritional support on the acupuncture points of appendix significantly promoted the recovery of gastrointestinal function after appendectomy curative effect is satisfied, at the same time shortened and reduce the average hospitalization days and the average hospital charges, to relieve the pain of patients, has important significance to reduce the social and economic burden of the patients, is worth clinical application.
