Chinese Medicine Hospital Information System

The forming of hospital information management in China has come through several phases, such as stand-alone system, local area network system(LANS), hospital information system(HIS) and global medicine information system (GMIS), et al. At present, most TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) hospitals are at the manage phase of information exchange among different departments, named as 'information island', so information data cannot be fully shared and used.After the analysis of the data of the information system, this article generally studied the different phases in the development of hospital information system.From diffrent point of view such as Medicine Economics, Medicine Management, Medical Insurance reformation and the development of TCM hospitals it found out the problem and deficiency of medicine information system in TCM(traditional Chinese medicine) hospitals , at the same time, it demonstrated the significance and urgence lying in the forming of medicine information system. Combined with the developing trency in this domain and to satisfy the needs of the clinic and towords the problemsin the management model of TCM hospital information system , the running mechanism, the constructive analysis to affair data, and the organizing technique, this article definitely pointed out how to resolve the problems of standardization in the information system management and construction, and primarily put forward the available projects of standardization of the medicine information system in the TCM hospitals.
