Zuoguiyin, Youguiyin Intervention In Senescent Cells

The theoretical research: On the basis of aging theory of Chinese and Western medicine and information of clinic, experiment and epidemic, this article proves that "kidney deficiency is the primary reason of aging" , expound that the change of pathology and physiology of kidney deficiency aging , review the research evolvement of the mechanism of drug for tonifing the kidney, and explore the character of kidney deficiency of aging.The experimental research: Objective: To prove the character of kidney deficiency of aging and explore the mechanism of drug for tonifing the kidney deeply, we compare the effect of Yougui Decoction for tonifing the kidney-yang with Zuogui Decoction for tonifing the kidney-yin on the regulation of senescence cell. Methods: The two kinds of drug sera of Yougui Decoction and Zuogui Decoction were used to treat the human diploid fibroblast cells 2BS. The cell cycle, the SOD activity, the content of MDA, the cell apoptosis and Bcl-2 gene expression were observed. Results: Both Zuogui Decoction and Yougui Decoction could significantly improve the 2BS cells proliferative ability, increase the SOD activity, and decrease the MDA content. Furthermore, the effect of Yougui Decoction was more obvious than Zuogui Decoction. Conclution: Comparing with younger human fibroblasts, the senescence ones appear to proliferate slowly and the metaboly of free radical also become imbalance. Both Yougui Decoction for tonifing the kidney-yang and Zuogui Decoction for tonifing the kidney-yin could rectify the senile changes. Furthermore, the effect of Yougui Decoction was more obvious than Zuogui Decoction. All these changes prove that kidney deficiency exactly exist in aging body and the character of kidney deficiency is deficiency both the yin and yang, and yang deficiency is more obvious.
