Clinical Applications And Mechanism Of Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Severe Acute Pancreatitis

Acute severe pancreatitis is an acute, high risky and severe disease with many complications and high mortality. At present, composite medical treatment to this disease is dominantly adopted in our country while the combining treatment of traditional Chinese medicines and western medicines, which could improve the prognosis of the patients, was proved to be effective to this disease by the domestic scholars.The achievements of clinical treatment to acute severe pancreatitis using traditional Chinese medicines during recent years were collected and arranged to form the main content of this article including the clinical treating experiences of my tutor-professor Zhang Xiaoyun. The whole article can be divided into two parts. In the first part, clinical studies to acute severe pancreatitis were arranged with various point of view of both Chinese and western medicines including studies of pathogen, pathogenesis, treatment with both Chinese and western medicines, pharmaceutics of Chinese medicines and compound Chinese medicines. This article aims to provide new reference of clinical prophylaxis and treatment to acute severe pancreatitis as well as emphasize the important role that Chinese medicines played in treating this disease and the studies of treating this disease using Chinese medicines. In the second part, the basal thoughts and experiences of Professor Zhang Xiaoyun treating this disease were concluded to provide reference of clinical treatment based on differentiation.
