Objective: To investigate the efficacy of EST and Chinese medicine in Severe Acute Pancreatitis treatment, thus to further definite the indication and using opportunity of EST and eventually advance the pancreatitis treatment.Method: According to the diagnosis, selected standard, excluded standard and different treatments, the 81 SAP cases were divided into three groups: the EST intervention group, the simple Western medicine group and the combined Chinese medicine with Western medicine group. The patients in the EST group had the EST intervention treatment in different stages with the foundation of Western medicine. The victims in the Western medicine were only offered the Western medicine while the others in the Chinese medicine group were provided integrative Chinese and western medicine. Many indexes were compared such as patients'age, Ranson score, CT severity index , APACHE II score, the biochemical index before and after treatment, etiological factors, course of disease, curative effect ,prognosis and so on. All the above indexes were compaeed when patients were classified in a second step according to their hepatic function, cholelithiasis and EST treatment. Results (1)The EST group, Western medicine group and Chinese medicine group were of comparability and they didn't have statistic differences in age, frequency of episode, process of disease outside hospital and their diseases'...
