| Tiaozhi Xumingyin (TX for abbreviation) is a decoction originated from traditional Chinese decoction called "Xiao Xumingtang" , which is the frequently used decoction for apoplexy. Its effect of treating chemic apoplexy has been verified by clinical treatment and animal models therapy. Its "promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis" effects have been verified by the Traditional Chinese Medicine method. TX has showed good effects on ameliorate the animals' blood flowing, blood viscosity, platelet aggregation.TX's effects on Hyperlipidemia model mouse, rat and quails and influences on LDLR gene expression were investigated in this paper. Animals of four groups were randomly divided: the controls group 1, the Hyperlipidemia animal groups 2, and the Hyperlipidemia animal groups with low dose TX (ig) 3, along with the Hyperlipidemia animals with high dose TX (ig) 4. TC, TG and Lipoproteins were determined for each group at the end of test by using different detection methods. The results showed that TX decoction (low dose) can significantly decrease the blood lipids of Hyperlipidemia model animals but TX (high dose) has no effects. In addition, the mRNA' s expression of liver tissue' s LDLR (Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor) of hyperlipidemia mice was studied. It is found that TX can up-regulate the mRNA' s expression of liver tissue' s LDLR gene of Hyperlipidemia mice.The study can provide a new method in Hyperlipidemia's therapy. |
