Health Services In The Western Region Development

As the essential criteria for the human being's development, the speed of improvement of the people's health and social basic public health service is the only standard to evaluate the capacity of a nation's public health policy. A well people health condition and social public service is the mission of development, moreover is the necessary condition to enhance working outcome rate, to speed economic improvement, to accelerate social development and to ensure social equality. To successfully carry out the strategy of investing on the people's health enables us to make Chinese people being more healthy, long and happy life using the extremely low rate of public health expending.This article focus on the economic, social and health development, introduces the health development's general profile of China, analyses the current situation and causes of weakness of health service in the western China, point out that limited average health expending restricts health development, because the low investment on the basic health care that caused health structures lack of fund to provide health service, low service capacity, poor service condition and inefficient quality, in addition the health resource have definite gap between rural and urban area, especiallyin western China, the health outcome have dramatic regional difference, all the above reasons lead to the poor health service in western China. To develop the health system of Western China is very urgent.As the carrying out of the western development strategy, perfect health level will ensure the implementation of the said strategy. The author of this article thinks we should further work on the five principle for the health reform, enhance the reestablishment of the western china' s health service system, improve medical condition, carry out population strategy, human resource strategy, Western medical center strategy and scientific development strategy, to achieve the goal of "health for all western people".
