The Righting Runchang Shu Particles Of 110 Cases Of Clinical Treatment Of Constipation

Objective:Through 110 clinical cases observation for the constipation by using Fu Zheng Run Chang Shu pellet and a comparative analysis and inquiry for the results for the purpose of providing academic basis for a wider application of Fu Zheng Run Chang Shu pellet to cure constipation. Mcthod:Divided 215 clinic and ward patients randomly into the observation group and the control group . In the observation group, 110 patients taking Fu Zheng Run Chang Shu pellet orally three times per day with two bags each time. In the control group, 105 patients taking Cisapride(made in xian-janssen pharmaceutical Lit. ) orally, three times per day according to the specification . Both group stopped using other interrelated treatment medicines and were observed for one period of treatment (20 days per treatment). Result: Among the 115 patients in the observation group, 63 clinically cured, 22 cases with obvious curative effect, 17 with effect, 8 cases without effect, total effective rate 92.73 %. Among the 105 cases in the control group, 32 cured, 37 with obvious curative effect, 15 with effect, 21 without effect, total effective rate 80.00 %0 There is a marked difference, P<0.01, by comaring the total effective rates between the two. Conclusion: The observation group and the control group both have definite effect for the treatment of constipation,but the observation group has an obviously priority than the control group. This shows that Fu Zheng Run Chang Shu pellet has a better clinical effect than Cisapride for the treatment of constipation .
