Through the research, literature, and clinical studies, this thesis will illustrate the importance, extensiveness, and uniqueness of the method of removing blood stasis and dispersing phlegm to heal eye diseases resulted from phlegm and blood stasis. By observing and analyzing 78 eyes from 54 cases of in-patient hemorrhage in fundus of eyes over the past year, more insights were gained through the practice of removing the blood stasis and dispersing phlegm. The study shows that out of 34 cases, 8 cases recovered, 26 cases are satisfactory. If applying the method of removing blood stasis alone, 2 recovered and 15 are satisfactory out of 17 cases. It suggests that the former method is more desirable.Results:1. Blood stasis and phlegm are two key factors of causing ophthalmology.2. The method of removing blood stasis and dispersing phlegm is a key method practiced in ophthalmology.3.
