God Moxibustion Experimental Study, Treatment Of Dysmenorrhea

Object: To probe into the mechanism of Shenjiutie treating dysmenorrhea. Method: 60 SD rats were randomly divided into 6 groups (10 for each): 1.modify group; 2.model group; 3.Shenjiutie hi bigger dosage; 4.Shenjiutie in smaller dosage; 5.orally-taken group; 6.Non-acupoint group; Through the experiment, algesthesia, hemorheology, contracility of the uterine smooth muscle, P-endorphin in hypophysis, development of ovary and uterus were tested in different ways. Results: Shenjiutie has obvious effect in improving p-endorphin in hypophysis of rats, which extremely increases the pain threshold; It decreases the viscosity of blood; It alleviates the contracility of the uterine smooth muscle induced by oxytocin; It promotes the development of ovary and uterus. Conclusion: Shenjiutie surely has effect on treating dysmenorrhea. The mechanism is proberbly due to the comprehensive effects, which includes increasing of P-endorphin in hypophysis, decreasing the viscosity of blood, alleviates the contracility of the uterine smooth muscle and promoting the development of ovary and uterus.
