| Objective:Observing the curative effect of the traditional Chinese herb medicine BXHJ on the disease of chronic congestive heart failure, and through clinical experiment, probing the impact of BXHJ on the related immunity index of the CHF patients. Methods:1.60 patients of CHF coming from the outpatient department and inpatient department were divided randomly into two groups: the control group (only treated with western medicine) and the treatment group(treated with BXHJ as well as western medicine),there were 60 patients in each group without significant hi sex, age, symptom pattern, basic diseases and the grade of heart function between two groups(p<0.05).The treatment time was composed of 15days.2.Observing the symptoms, signs and total effective ratios before and after the treatment, making a statistical disposal and comparing the curatine effects.3.The blood-routine, urine-routine, stool-routine, blood viscosity, lever function and kidney function were examined to judge if the BXHJ had any side-effects or toxicity.4.Making ultrasonic examination on the patients'heart before and after the treatment in order to compare the chances of EF, SV, CO, E, A, and E/A.5.Making measurements of TNF-a, IL-6, ET-1, Ang II and ALD in the Blood plasma by means of radio-immunity. Results:1.The symptoms and signs of the patients of the two groups after the treatment were better than those before treatments. There was no significant difference in statistics(p>0.05),but when compared between the two groups ,the significant control rate (65%) and the total effective rate (85%)of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(whose significant control rate was 41.67%,total effective rate was 71.67%) and there was significant difference between them.2.After treatment both the two groups had better results concerning the index with indicated the unproved of the systolic function of the left ventricular including SV,CO, EF, especially for the improvement of EF and Co in the treatment group,when compared with that of the control group, there was significant difference(p<0.01);compared with before treatment ,the two groups had better results concerning the diastole function of the left ventricular after the treatment, which included such index as A,E,E/A. When compared with the control group, the treatment group had a significantly better result in improving the index A.3.Compared with before treatment ,both groups had significant differences in the contents of TNF-a, Ang II, ALD, IL-6, ET-1 in the plasma after the treatment. There was significant difference in declining the contents of Ang II , TNF- a , ALD, IL-6, ET-1 ,when the treatment group was compared with the control group.Conclusion:l.BXHJ has a constant effect on the CHF patients in the Clinical practice: it could relieve the symptoms and signs of congestive heart failure caused by different kinds of basic diseases,without any side-effects and toxicity2.BXHJ can effectively improve the systolic function and diastolic function of the left ventricular and then improved the supply of blood of the organic body and relieve the symptoms caused by the lack of blood supply.3.The medicinism of BXHJ could be that it put down the contents of TNF-a, IL-6, EF-1, ALD,AngII in the blood plasma by regulating immune function and slowing downing the secreting of cell factors and in this way it could protect the ventriculomegaly cells. |
