| To compare the therapeutic efficiency of collagenase injection in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (LDH) ,which were injected into the intervertebral discs or into the epidural space. Methods64 patients with lumbar disc herniation were injected into the intervertebral discs or into the epidural space .all patients were followed up from 3 months to 2 years . ResultsIn the group that collagenase injection were injected into the intervertebral discs ,the rate of excellent and good results were 78.6%,and in the control group ,the rate were 77.5%.but the rate of therapeutic efficiency had not statistical difference between the two groups. ConclusionsCollagenase injection into epidural space is a safety and effective method in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. |
