| Objective: To observe the clinical symptoms of patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation treated by transsacral canal fissure catheterization with collagenase in order to evaluate objectively the safety and clinical efficacy of this minimally invasive therapy.Methods: Seventy-two Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation patients who were admitted to the affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly selected and treated with collagenase lysis via sacral puncture.The clinical symptoms of the patients before and after treatment were evaluated and analyzed.Results: The results were evaluated by(VAS): 24 hours after treatment,3 weeks,3months and 6 months as compared with those before treatment.There was a significant statistical significance in VAS score before and after treatment(P < 0.05).It means that the effect is remarkable.The effect of treatment pain improvement is positively correlated with the postoperative time.It can significantly reduce the pain sensation of patients.2 the experimental results were evaluated according to the modified MacNab efficacy: effective rate comparison: total 24 hours after treatment.The effective rate is77.46%,The total effective rate was 88.73% at 3 weeks after treatment,90.14% at 3months after treatment and 91.43% at 6 months after treatment,and the total effective rate was significantly higher than that at 6 months after treatment(P < 0.05).The excellent and good rates were 64.79% at 3 weeks after treatment,69.01% at 3 months after treatment,72.86%.The improvement level of symptoms was more obvious.Conclusion: Catheterization of collagenase through sacral canal fissure has the advantages of high safety and obvious long-term effect in the treatment of Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation patients.It can improve the quality of life of the patients,and the long-term effect is good.It is worth popularizing in clinical practice. |
