Clinical Random Control Study On Acupuncture For Treatment Of Bell's Paralysis

Objective:The present study was designed to explore the efficacy and necessity of acupuncture treatment for facial pralasis by random and constract study. The present study would be to supply a reliability evidence for acupuncture treatment curing facial pralasis , and a scientific method to cure^ verdict the degree of the state of an illness and predict it' s prognosis for Bell' s palsy.Method: One hundred and nine consecutive patients admitted to hospital because of Bell's palsy were randomized to three groups:elementary, acupuncture and elementary add acupuncture. According to the article .'investigate the clinical research situation of acupuncture for facial paralysis in the past 50 years, the disable side acupoint S4, S6, S7, S8, SJ20, LI, were choosed. The acupuncture treatment started after randomization and was given five times a week for for weekes.The elementary treatment is given delta prenovis, dibazol, VitBl, VitB12. One doctor, blinded regarding-3-the patients allocation, evaluated the treatment effects according to the HouseHBrackmann and FDI measuring scale. The assessments were performed two times during certain times. In addition, we observed the effect of acupuncture on improvement of EMG.Results .-There was significant difference among three groups with symptom and the changes in House-Brackmann measuring scale and FDIP. NO differences in FDIS and EMG were found among three groups according to P>0.05.Cone I us ion:The presentr study indicates that both acupunture and elementary treatment have beneficial effet on Bell's palsy. But the two mehods used at the same time has better effct. And the above three methods, elementary add acupuncture treatment has beneficial effct on patients obstacle of physologic, but might have beneficial on their society. We can use colligation method to verdict the effct of Bell' s palsy..
