Objective:To investigate the expression of CD44v6, E-cadherin in oral squamous cell carcinoma and its relationship to clinic and pathology. Method: Forty?nine patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma were studied by immunohistochemisty. Results: The expression of CD44v6.. E-cadherin in oral squamous cell carcinoma is not related with sex, the effect of chemotherapy, T grade , pathological grade, the translation of the lymph node and the recurrence of the carcinoma. There are relationship between the expression of E-cadherin and the lacation of the carcinoma. The expression of E-cadherin is altered after the chemotherpy of carcinoma. Conclusion: TheexpressionofCD44v6. E-cadherin moral squamous cell carcinoma can be neither used for diagnostic purposes nor as prognostic markers of oral squamous cell carcinoma.
