Experimental Study on Qifen Phase of Wetness-heat SeasonalFebrile Disease Treated with Releasing Stagnated Lung-energy and Drying the Wetness-heatWritten by : Ge WenhuaInstucted by: Prof. Dong XijiSpeciality : Science of Febrile DiseasesAbstractThe author suggests that the basic pathogenesis in Qifen phase of wetnessheat seasonal febrile disease lies in the invasion of retention of wetness-heat evil and stagnancy of triple warmer energy.Wetness-heat evil is the most important cause of wetness-heat seasonal febrile disease.The author suggests treating the disease with the method of releasing stagnated lung-energy and drying the wetness-evil.The author carried out an experimental study on the effort of the therapeutic method on animal, symptom that are identified as Qifen phase ,which is made by vaccinating big mice with typhoid bacillus ,feeding them with lard and 30% honey beverage, placing them in moist and hot enviorment. She made an experimental observation with Jia Wei Lian Pu Yin(JWLPY),a representative of the method, as the experimental group and Wang Shi Lian Pu Yin(WSLPY) as the control group.The results reveal that JWLPY is superior to XVSLPY. Statistis shows that there is a significant difference between the groups.(P41.05) Therefore , the method of releasing stagnated lung-energy and drying the wetness-evil is the effective method in treating Qifen phase of wetness-heat seasonal febrile disease.
