Experimental Study On Injection In The Treatment Of Osteoarthritis Of The Bone Health

Experimeutal Purpose' about the Research on the theraPeutic effectS of the "Gu Sheng Zhu SheYe" (GSZSY) on the osteoarthritis (OA). Procedure: by using 40 healthy "Japanese White"rabbitS as objects to make the OA Experimental Animal ModeI by ligating both the femoral vainand the inferior gluteal veins of the objects, strengthening and fixing one of their knee joints, andinjecting GSZSY into/under the objects' inferior tibiae pIateau and examining it's effeets on theOA objects. Main Examining Items: the tibia mobility/activity of the fixed knee joint, the SOD,the MDA, the blood rheoIogy and the opticaI microscopic inspection on pathologicaI section fromthe fixed joint. Experimental Results: the GSZSY group indicating obvious reduction on thechanges of both the pathologicaI morphology and the tibia mobility/activity examinations of theOA objects. ConcIusion: GSZSY may reduce and slow down the pathoIogical progression on theOA objects. We therefore infer that, from both the Experiment and infOrmation study, GSZSYmight have improved and/Or effected the pathoIogical changes of the OA as fo1lows: l. byimproving the microcirculatory distUrbance of the affected joints; 2. by reducing the interior bonepressure of the affected joints; 3. by increasing the affected object's body ability to cIear andlorlessen the production of free radical.
